This traditional woman's jacket from Zhenfeng County in Central Guizhou Province has intricately embroidered back and sleeve panels of indigo-dyed silk which blends richly with the base indigo cotton jacket. Front and edges are beautiful hand woven ribbons. Lining is black and white commercial gingham print. Some staining on the lining, but otherwise in good condition. This style is still worn today in the local villages.
