Miao Silk Embroidered Jacket

This is a small girl's or women's jacket from western Guizhou Province. Hand woven ribbons and elaborate silk embroidered sections over paper cuts designs are added to the commercial silk brocade base. Bottom sections are of multiple layers of cotton.
Good condition, but with some staining on the sleeves. Circa 1960.
