Charming Baby Carrier purchased in Yunnan Province and attributed to Yi People, who are a large minority group in the province. Organic designs are created by appliquing green and purple silk using a button whole stitch embroidery. The designs on the borders do appear to be machine made, although the rest of the work is clearly hand done. From last half of the 20th century.
